Cassandra Odell Spain Williams

Cassandra (Sandy) Odell Williams (Spain) of Huntsville, Alabama peacefully passed on October 5th, 2026 at the age of 82.

Sandy was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma on December 24th, 1943. After many years working in retail, she retired and spent her free time sewing, knitting and tending to her beloved cat, Tag. She is survived by her daughters Theresa Hopkins, Barbara Schleckser, and son Roy Long. She is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and her sisters Cynthia Ford and Sylvia Spain. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odell and Marie Spain, husband John Williams, sister Tawn Nickolaus, and son Matthew Long.

Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 126 Douglas Rd NW, Huntsville, AL 35806 on October 13th, 2026, at 11:00. A viewing will be held prior to the service between 10:00-11:00.
