Jeanette Ingle Gardner

Jeanette Ingle Gardner passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026. Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Gardner; her parents, Lecil and Erline Ingle; her sister, Susan Tingle and her brother, Leland Ingle; and a great-grandson, Teddy Ricks.

Jeanette worked for the Kmart Company until her retirement. She was a member of Weaver First Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, playing board games, and spending time with friends and family. She will be remembered for her faith, dedication to her family, her friendship to all and her wit.

She is survived by her son, Steve (Sandy) Gardner; daughter, Karen (Scott) Motz; grandchildren, Katherine (Eric) Lowe; Sean Motz; Elise (Thomas) Ricks; Sarah (Darryl) Robman; and a great-granddaughter, Riley Ricks.
