Jeanette Doyle Rodgers

Mrs. Jeanette Doyle Rodgers, of Madison, Alabama, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 27, 2026, at the age of 65.

Jeanette was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and as a young child moved to Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where she graduated from Oak Ridge High School. Jeanette became active in her church at a young age and developed a keen interest in working with young children that continued throughout her life. She babysat from her early teens and worked with children in church programs, schools, and pre-school programs across the United States and Germany. Throughout her life she loved animals and they always loved her. She loved the ocean as a vacation destination and was always ready for a beach trip.

A devoted wife and mother, she was the joy of her family because of her compassion, caring, kindness and nurturing qualities. She loved everyone, and to know her as a friend was to be part of her family. She wanted to connect with everyone she met and excelled at getting to know you at a deep meaningful level and was sincere and genuine in establishing relationships. Although limited by her illness over the last few years, she made the most of enabling technologies and platforms such as Facebook and Instagram to remain connected with everyone as much as her energy level permitted. Jeanette was a quiet, reserved and perceptive presence in her family and among her friends, quick to laugh and always wanting to celebrate special occasions.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her mother Mary Linda Dunning Doyle. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, David, her daughter Mallory Tryon (William), son Michael Rodgers (Tam), father John H. Doyle, sister Jacqueline Allison (Mark), brother John D. Doyle (Dorothy Johnson), and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and numerous friends.
